WESTCLIFF’S SEASON COMES TO AN END AGAINST #2 OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN

A goal in the second minute by #2-seed Oklahoma Wesleyan had Westcliff playing uphill all match, and the Warriors bowed out of the NAIA men's soccer national tournament in the second round by a deceptive 3-0 final score.

OWU (19-0-3) added a second goal off a free kick to a header in the 79th minute and tacked on a PK in the 82nd to advance to the NAIA final site in Orange Beach, AL, on Dec. 1-8. Westcliff finished another strong season at 12-5-2.

The choppy and physical match included 35 total fouls and 13 yellow cards including one on each bench.
