#1 Simpson wins against stubborn NNMC to claim first Cal Pac Championship

Timothy Parker, the Cal Pac Player of the Year, showed everyone why he earned that distinction as he was an unstoppable force leading the Red Hawks to their first ever Cal Pac Championship. The red shirt junior from Riverside, CA, led all scorers with 32 points. Simpson would control the lead throughout the game, leading by as much as 14 points however the Eagles would not go away.

The Red Hawks led at halftime 46-37 and showed no signs of slowing up. Defender of the Year, Aidan Rolfs had 11 rebounds at the half and finished with 18 rebounds and 7 points, Nian Allen played a big role with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and Jack Jillson contributed 17 points, 3 assists.

With the win, Simpson earned the Cal Pac automatic bid to the NAIA nationals, which start on campus sites on March 13-14.
