2026 Men’s Volleyball All-Conference Teams
The California Pacific Conference coaches selected their all-conference selections for the 2026 season. Westcliff's Gabriel Pizza was named as the Cal Pac Player of the Year. The explosive outside hitter from Sao Paolo, Brazil filled up the stat sheet this season finishing second in the conference in Kills per Set (3.94) and Kills (264). He ranks fourth in Digs per Set (2.28), Digs (153) and Hitting Percentage (.288). Pizza recorded three 20+ kills this season.
Simpson's Dehryn Brown wins Attacker of the Year and Freshman of the Year with his stellar play throughout the season. The super frosh from Elk Grove, CA, ranked first in KIlls per Set (3.96) and Kills (380), fifth in Hitting Percentage (.286) and second in digs (178). He had a career high 27 kills and 7 total blocks against Pacific Union this season.
Westcliff's Tiago Silva wins the Defender of the Year honor. The junior middle blocker from Lisbon, Portugal, led the conference in Hitting Percentage (.453) and Blocks per Set (1.07).
Westcliff's Nikos Kalagasidis claimed the Setter of the Year award. Kalagasidis, a grad student from Thessalonniki, Greece, led the Cal Pac in Assists per Set (9.01) and third in Service Aces per Set (0.40). He also had a career high in assists with 47 against UC Merced last month.
Soren Laack from Walla Walla was named Newcomer of the Year. The sophomore middle blocker from Rochester, MN, had season highs in kills (7), points (8.5), digs (3) and total blocks (5). Laack is ranked 13th in the conference in Blocks per Set (0.54)
The conference coaches selected Westcliff's Alexis Griffiths and Simpson's head coach Steven Brasher as the Cal Pac Co-Coaches of the Year.
