SIMPSON EARNS CAL PAC COMMISSIONER’S TROPHY

Winning five conference titles and finishing second in three others, Simpson University is the winner of the 2025-26 Commissioner’s Trophy. The award is given to the institution with the most collective success in California Pacific Conference competition.

This is the first outright trophy for the Red Hawks, who as charter members of the Cal Pac shared the honor in 2012. The award was initiated in 1997-98

Simpson won championships in men’s and women’s Cross Country, men’s and women’s Basketball, and women’s volleyball. They were runners-up in men’s and women’s soccer and men’s volleyball as well.

Westcliff finished second after taking three championships in men’s and women’s soccer and men’s volleyball.

Points are awarded based on post-season competition in sports with tournament play or on place finish for sports without a postseason conference event.
