WU, Park Set New Marks at UCR Invitational

Westcliff and Park-Gilbert competed at the UC Riverside Invitational last Saturday, where both programs were able to set new standards. WU's Kevin Kiptoo, who qualified for last year's NAIA National Championship, turned in the fastest time in the first weeks of the 2022 California Pacific Conference season, clocking a 27:02, and Park's Manuel Najera set a new school record on the course, running a personal best of 28:16. On the women's side, Park's Allena Rowland was the first Buccaneer to come across the line and recorded a personal-best time of 19:49, another new Park record, and also the second-best time posted in the conference this Fall.
