SU, WU Head to Georgia for CAC Championship

The four teams competing for the 2025 Continental Athletic Conference Softball Championship, being held May 1-3 at Georgia Gwinnett's Grizzly Softball Complex in Lawrenceville, Ga., have been announced by conference leadership, along with the seeds for double-elimination tournament.

Tournament host GGC has been selected as the #1 seed while Simpson is the No. 2 seed. Florida National stands as the #3 seed and Westcliff rounds out the tournament field as the # 4 seed.

Action gets underway on Thursday, May 1, with GGC playing Westcliff at 9:00 am (PT). That will be followed by Simpson facing Florida National at 11:30 p.m.

Play will continue on Friday, May 2, and the championship round is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 3, at noon. The CAC champion will represent the league in the Opening Round of the NAIA national tournament.
