WU Eliminated In Second Round

After advancing with a thrilling shootout in Thursday's First Round of the NAIA National Championship at Caldwell, Ida., Westcliff's unbeaten season ended with a 2-1 loss to bracket host College of Idaho in Saturday's Second Round.  With the loss, the Warriors, the California Pacific Conference regular season co-champion and postseason tournament winner, were eliminated from the postseason, compiling a stellar 12-1-3 overall record.  The Warriors were first on the scoreboard after Cal Pac Player of the Year Jysabella Tolentino found the back of the net off an assist from Newcomer of the Year Jordyn Gather in the 55th minute of the match, but goals by the Yotes in the 74th and 84th minutes brought WU's season to a close.
