UC Merced Wins School's First Volleyball Title

UC Merced women's volleyball claimed the Cal Pac regular season championship and the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament. The title is the first in women's volleyball for the Bobcats.

UCM (12-1 Cal Pac) heads into the final two contests of the regular season on a dominant 7-match winning streak, having dropped just one set over that span and sweeping every other league opponent at least once during that run. The Bobcats clinched the outright title with their sweep of Providence Christian coupled with La Sierra's 3-2 win at current second-place Simpson.

UC Merced, Simpson, La Sierra, and Providence Christian have clinched the four spots in the Cal Pac tourney (Nov. 15-16 at LSU), which will determine the automatic qualifier to the NAIA nationals.
