Final Week to Determine Final Championship Seeding

Entering the last week of the California Pacific Conference regular season schedule, the four qualifiers for the postseason tournament have been determined, but only one team has locked in a seed for the tournament that will take place on Nov. 15-16 at La Sierra in Riverside, Calif.  UC Merced (12-1 in the Cal Pac, 16-7 overall) claimed the program's first regular season title and secured the #1 seed in the two-day event, but the remaining trio of teams will determine their own fate this week.  Simpson (9-4, 15-12) is currently in second place, but only one game in front of La Sierra (8-5, 10-13) and two ahead of Providence Christian (7-6, 11-17).  The Red Hawks close out their regular season with matches at Pacific Union and UC Merced, the Golden Eagles are at PCC for very pivotal match on Thursday and then will be at home against Westcliff, and, after traveling to LSU, the Sea Beggars finish at Westcliff.
